Role OverviewThis position will be responsible for performing complex design and plan preparation functions on multiple projects, checking the work of other engineers, and acting as a work group leader in the development of PS&E packages. The position will function in a hybrid work environment, with a mix of in-person and remote work.
What You Will Do
Perform drafting and checking of Highway related design drawings, prepare contract documents, plans, and sketches, review shop drawings, and perform and check horizontal and vertical geometry calculations. Assist in developing the technical skills and project knowledge of co-workers and participate in project sites, project status meetings, and public meetings.

The ideal candidate will have a B.S. Degree in Engineering or related field, a minimum of 5+ years of progressively responsible highway design related experience, and a Professional Engineer License in good standing. The candidate will also have knowledge of CDR-M Design and office procedures, and the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
