Job Description
Highway Maintenance Technician position with the Montana Department of Transportation, performing laborer, lead worker, equipment operator, and truck driver duties for highway maintenance activities. Relocation assistance may be offered to the successful candidate.

Requirements

  • Valid Montana Commercial Operators License (Class A, Type II) with no restrictions, a tank endorsement, and a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC)
  • 1 year of experience driving a heavy truck or operating construction equipment
  • 1 year of documented experience from another city, county, or state highway road department (for Level II and III)
