Role Overview

The selected candidate will be placed in the classification in which they meet minimum qualifications. The role involves serving the public and working to make the roads in Ohio safer. The candidate will attend training to obtain CDL licensure and perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing. They will also perform snow & ice operations.

Requirements

  • Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary
  • Must obtain Class B Commercial Drivers License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
  • Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions; ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
