Role Overview

The selected candidate will be placed in the classification in which they meet minimum qualifications. The role involves serving the public and working to make the roads in Ohio safer. The candidate will perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing. They will also perform snow and ice operations.

What You Will Do

The selected candidate will attend training to obtain CDL licensure, if not already a licensed CDL holder. They will perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing, and snow and ice operations.

Requirements

  • Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary
  • Must obtain Class B Commercial Drivers License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
