Job Description
The Ohio Department of Public Safety is seeking a Highway Patrol Electronic Technician 1 to install and repair electronic equipment in vehicles, test and repair equipment, and monitor frequency modulations and power output. The position requires 18 months of experience in installation, repair, and working of mobile communication equipment or vehicular electronics, or completion of a 2-year technical program in electronics or radio communications. The position is essential to the continued operations of the Ohio Department of Public Safety during a public safety emergency.
