Role OverviewAs a Highway Technician 1, you will serve the public and contribute to making Ohio's roads safer by performing various highway maintenance activities, such as flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing. You will also participate in snow and ice operations to ensure safe travel during winter conditions.

Requirements
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
- Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions
- Ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary
- 3 mos. training or 3 mos. experience in operation of basic equipment
