Role OverviewThe Highway Technician 1 will perform snow and ice duties on the roadway, conduct fleet readiness inspections, and assist with sign installation along routes. The role also involves general facilities maintenance, pothole patching, and roadway remediation crew duties.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will work 8-12 hours a day, operate articulated loaders, and assist with the maintenance of traffic for roadway emergencies. They will also be responsible for highway beautification and litter removal.

Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with tanker endorsement and no air brake restrictions
- Formal education in arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, decimals, percentages, and fractions
- Ability to read, write, and speak common English vocabulary
- 3 months of training or experience in operating basic equipment
