Job Description
The Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) is seeking a Highway Technician 1 to perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, and snow and ice operations. The successful candidate will serve the public and contribute to making the roads in Ohio safer.

Requirements

  • Formal education in arithmetic
  • Ability to read, write, and speak common English vocabulary
  • 3 months training or experience in operation of basic equipment
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
