Role OverviewAs a Highway Technician 1, you will serve the public by working to make the roads in Ohio safer. You will perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing. You will also perform snow and ice operations.

Your main day-to-day responsibilities will include performing highway maintenance activities, snow and ice operations, and other tasks as needed.

Requirements
- Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions
- Ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary
- 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
