Job Description
As a Highway Technician 1 (HT1) at the State of Ohio, you will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer. You will perform highway maintenance activities, including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, and mowing, as well as perform snow & ice operations.

Requirements

  • Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions
  • Ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary
  • 3 months training or experience in operation of basic equipment
  • Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction
