Role OverviewThe route sales driver will be responsible for delivering and selling dairy products to customers, following all Department of Transportation regulations. The driver will also be required to load and unload product, set up merchandise displays, and resolve service complaints.
What You Will Do
The driver will collect money from customers, make change, and record transactions on customer receipts. They will also write customer orders and instructions, and record sales or delivery information on daily sales or delivery records.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The successful candidate must be able to work in very hot and very cool environments, and work outside most of the time. They must also be able to lift and move heavy items, and work in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements
- Must have a Class A commercial driver’s license, with no automatic or manual restriction.
- Minimum Age: 21, as per Federal D.O.T. regulations
- Must be able to pass a D.O.T. Physical and Drug Screen
- Past route sales experience and a good driving record preferred
