Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a HIM Specialist - EMPI to assist with the collection, processing, maintenance, disclosure, and transportation of protected patient health information. The successful candidate will participate as an essential member of the Health Information Management Department and ensure that an individual's health data and information is accurate, complete, accessible, confidential, and secure.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of completed vocational certificate or degree in the HIM field
  • 1 year of healthcare experience
