Job Description
UT Southwestern is seeking a HIM Specialist to assist with the collection, processing, maintenance, disclosure, and transportation of protected patient health information. The successful candidate will have 1 year of health care experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Requirements

  • 1 year of health care experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of completed vocational certificate or degree which also supports the domain of the HIM field
  • Ability to perform various detailed and technical tasks
  • Ability to protect the privacy and security of medical records
