Job Description
The Archdiocese of St. Louis Catholic Education and Formation is seeking a History Teacher to deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in history, civics, economics, and/or geography while supporting the mission of Catholic education. The teacher fosters students’ intellectual, moral, and spiritual development in alignment with Catholic values and teachings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in History, Social Studies, Education, or a related field
  • Valid teaching certification
  • Knowledge of secondary social studies content
  • Strong instructional planning, classroom management, and assessment skills
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Proficiency with educational technology and instructional tools
  • Commitment to the mission and values of Catholic education
  • Professionalism, organization, and reliability in fulfilling job duties
