Job Description
Blu Omega is seeking a HIVE Support Engineer to support a federal program. The role is responsible for the day-to-day operational health of the Hive analytics environment, ensuring performance, stability, and reliability of the platform.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in data platform or analytics support roles
  • Strong experience with Apache Hive and HiveQL
  • Advanced SQL skills
  • Experience with Hive performance optimization, data partitioning and indexing, schema design and data modeling
  • Experience building automated workflows using Python, Shell scripting, or similar
