Role OverviewION Solar is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. Our dedicated team is committed to making solar energy accessible and affordable for homeowners across the country. We are looking for qualified Technicians who will be responsible for the management of all inspections following the solar installation.
What You Will Do
Setting up inspections with the proper jurisdictions, delivering documents at the premises of projects, sharing information with the corporate office about important items with each project, complete projects within established policies and procedures, complete projects within time frames and budgets, maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety, communicate with customers in a professional, considerate, and respectful manner, answering all questions and complaints to the best of your ability.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must work well unsupervised and be self-motivated, proficient math skills to calculate the number of materials needed, ability to use ION technology, such as Paycom, FieldPro, Salesforce, and smartphones, must possess a valid Driver's License and be willing to submit to a Motorized Vehicle Report.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- More than 1 year of previous construction experience in electrical, roofing, or framing
- Solar experience is preferred
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
