Role OverviewWe are looking for a Home Delivery Driver for our North Aurora, IL facility to distribute products promptly to our Illinois customers. You will represent our company in a professional and cost-effective manner to increase our profitability and customer satisfaction.
What You Will Do
Pre/Post inspections of delivery trucks, log hours of service, pick orders from warehouse, deliver dairy & grocery products, navigate routes using a GPS unit, practice safe driving, and provide exceptional customer service.
Why It Might Be a Fit
You must be able to work either of two shifts, have a valid driver's license, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. You will receive a daily rate of $350.00 ($35-43 hourly equivalent) and a sign on bonus of $500.00 paid after 90 days.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license (Class C or Chauffeur's license)
- Proven working experience as a Delivery Driver
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs, frequently bending, carrying, walking with product
- Able to work in refrigerated conditions (33-38 degrees)
- Ability to drive safely in a variety of weather and traffic conditions
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced, physical environment
- Clean driving record with no traffic violations
- High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
