Job Description
The Occupational Therapist plans and provides skilled occupational therapy services to clients in their home in accordance with the Plan of Care and the Company’s policies and procedures. This is a full-time or part-time position with a flexible schedule during office hours Monday - Friday, requiring travel to clients' homes to provide 1:1 client care that may take 1-3 hours per client.

Requirements

  • Currently licensed as an Occupational Therapist in the state of Minnesota
  • Graduate of AOTA approved school of occupational therapy and currently certified by the AOTA to practice occupational therapy
  • At least two (2) years experience in a health care setting or equivalent experience, with home care experience preferred
  • Certification with National Board of Occupational Therapy strongly recommended
  • Strong interpersonal communication and teaching skills
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation
  • A valid driver’s license and proof of car insurance
  • Proof of negative mantoux or documentation of negative chest x-ray
  • Current CPR certification recommended
  • U.S. Citizenship or evidence of valid Alien Work Permit
  • Disclosure of any conviction and criminal history records pertaining to any crime related to the provision of health services
