Role OverviewBAYADA Home Health Care is seeking an experienced Physical Therapist for a full-time or part-time opportunity performing home health visits throughout Calvert County, Maryland. As a home care Physical Therapist, you will be an integral member of a multi-disciplinary health care team that provides rehabilitative care and skilled nursing to clients.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include making home visits to clients, performing diagnostic tests and measurements, implementing integumentary protective interventions, developing and implementing care plans, educating clients and family members, and accurately documenting observations and interventions.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a current MD Physical Therapist license, strong interpersonal and organizational skills, and experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
Requirements
- A current MD Physical Therapist license
- Graduation from a program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Solid computer skills; prior experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred
