Role OverviewWorks under minimal supervision to coordinate and maintain scheduling of visits for home health patients and staff. Enters staff and patient information into database and maintains reports. Responsible for development and continual monitoring of the work schedules for Clinicians to meet patient care needs.
What You Will Do
Schedules patient appointments/visits according to care plans and staff availability. Contacts care providers and clients regarding day-to-day changes. Enters staff and patient information into database. Maintains staff and patient statistics, and reports.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Requires 2 years of experience in a medical office environment, with exposure to physician billing, medical collections, coding, and surgery scheduling. Preferred experience in Home Health/Scheduling.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years in medical office environment
- Exposure and working knowledge of physician billing, medical collections, coding and surgery scheduling and/or patient access
