What You Will Do
Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, prepare and review month end close processes, and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.

Requirements
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- 4-7 years of related experience and/or training
- Working knowledge of regulatory requirements (i.e., SOX, audits)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced analytical skills
- Advanced understanding of accounting principles and basic tax knowledge
- Project management skills
- Advanced systems knowledge (Excel and other analytical systems)
- Complete understanding of the financial close process
- Understanding of local and state compliance requirements (payroll, property, sales, tax)
- People management
- Ability to develop and maintain G&Os
