Horticulturist

The Horticulturist will support the care, maintenance, and improvement of indoor and outdoor living assets across Musco facilities. This position provides an opportunity to apply horticultural expertise in a professional environment while contributing to attractive, healthy, and well-maintained spaces for team members, visitors, and guests.

What You Will Do

The Horticulturist will assist with planning, preparation, planting, watering, pruning, and ongoing care of indoor and outdoor plant material. They will use horticulture knowledge to improve plant health, appearance, and overall quality, and identify plant pests, diseases, and other concerns, recommending or implementing corrective action.

Requirements

• Degree in horticulture or at least two years of relevant horticulture experience
• Knowledge of plant pests, diseases, and appropriate treatment methods
• Ability to work varied hours, including rotating weekends and holidays
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds independently and 150 pounds or more with assistance
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and adapt quickly to changing conditions
• Comfort working outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, including extreme heat and cold
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well as part of a team
• Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to work at heights of at least 25 feet
• Experience using gardening tools and performing hands-on manual labor
• Experience with computers and Microsoft 365
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Innovative problem-solving with a team-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with Musco solutions is a plus
