Hospice CNA - Full Time

Enhabit Home Health & Hospice is seeking a Hospice CNA to assist with personal care issues for hospice patients. The role involves assisting patients' family members in caring for their terminally ill relatives and consulting with supervising registered nurses. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in direct client care in an institutional setting or a home health or hospice setting.

What You Will Do

Assist with personal care issues, including changing bedding, bathing patients, and helping with hygienic routines. Assist patients' family members in caring for their terminally ill relatives and consult with supervising registered nurses.

Requirements

• Must meet one of the following requirements: 1) have a minimum of one year full time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility); 2) have one year experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting.
• Must be registered and listed in good standing on the nurse aide registry in the state of employment.
• Must have basic demonstrated technology skills, including operation of a mobile device.
• Must possess a valid state driver license
• Must maintain automobile liability insurance as required by law
• Must maintain dependable transportation in good working condition
• Must be able to safely drive an automobile in all types of weather conditions
• Must complete training, competency evaluation in compliance with federal and state regulations
• Must possess CPR certification
