Role OverviewXanitos, Inc. is hiring Full time Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for 2nd shift at Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY. The individual will clean and keep in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus.
What You Will Do
Daily responsibilities include cleaning and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim, cleaning rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas, sweeping and/or vacuuming floor, dusting furniture and equipment, polishing metalwork, washing walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills, and transporting trash and waste to the disposal area.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have experience in the janitorial industry and medical cleaning, and will be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time, with frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling of up to 50 lbs.
Requirements
- Flu shot required
- Experience in the janitorial industry a plus
- Medical cleaning a plus
- Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required
