Role OverviewThe Environmental Service Hospital Housekeeper cleans and keeps in an orderly condition facilities or locations in a health care campus. This individual may work in any location on client premises, including cleaning patient rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
What You Will Do
Daily responsibilities include cleaning and polishing lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim, sweeping and/or vacuuming floors, dusting furniture and equipment, polishing metalwork, washing walls, ceiling, and woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills, and transporting trash and waste to the disposal area.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Successful applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time. Experience in the janitorial industry and medical cleaning are a plus.
