Job Description
The Hospital Safety Officer is responsible for the strategic planning, implementation, and continuous monitoring of a comprehensive Safety Program at the Texas Behavioral Health Center (TBHC). This position is responsible for evaluating facility-wide environmental risks, establishing quantifiable safety goals, and driving a proactive culture of safety.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (Safety, Security, Environmental Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Fire Science)
  • 5 years experience in directing Safety Programs in a Health Care Setting
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and other relevant programs
  • Technical competence in life safety and safety science
