Role OverviewThe Sports & Social Club is a relaxed sports bar offering classic pub food and tremendous sports viewing. The Host is responsible for providing a lasting positive experience to guests, including welcoming guests, maintaining an accurate wait, and coordinating seating arrangements.
What You Will Do
Answer phones, take messages/reservations, greet guests, communicate effectively with guests, coordinate seating arrangements, and anticipate needs of scheduled special parties.

The Host position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
Requirements
- At least one year of experience with customer service and/or hosting
- Must speak fluent English, other languages preferred
- Basic mathematical skills are used frequently
- Must be able to read, review and understand seating charts
- Carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds
- Standing, bending, stooping, and kneeling
