Host

The Host is the first and last point of contact for members and guests at a private club, setting the tone for their entire club experience. This role reports to the Food & Beverage Director and is part of Invited, the largest owner and operator of private clubs nationwide. The position is part-time and located in Haymarket, VA.

What You Will Do

Warmly greet and seat members and guests, ensuring a seamless and positive start and finish to their visit. Maintain the 3-steps of service by providing exceptional hospitality, keep the host area organized, and assist with other tasks such as member services representative duties as needed. Handle last-minute requests and changes from members/guests professionally and notify management of any complaints.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in the service or hospitality industry is an advantage
• Experience operating a multi-line telephone system
• Proven ability to handle sensitive member information with the highest level of confidentiality
• Strong communication skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately
• Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments
• Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, grasping, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding as required
• Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs. occasionally
• Effective communication skills, including talking and hearing, with sufficient visual acuity
