Role Overview

The Area Director of Sales and Marketing has direct oversight of the Sales and Marketing operation of two hotels. They are responsible for the Sales and Marketing Budget/P&L, revenue forecasting, advertising, marketing, and supervision of sales managers and staff. They report directly to the General Manager and Regional Vice President of Sales.

What You Will Do

The ADOSM will be responsible for recruiting and hiring sales staff, training, managing, and coaching sales managers to meet company goals and maximize hotel revenues. They will also be proficient in general computer knowledge and able to train and monitor the group and transient contractual agreement process.

  • Intermediate or expert skill level in the use of computer programs such as Microsoft Office Suite and hotel-based computer programs
