Job Description
The Hotel Director of Event Management oversees the supervision of staff, functions, and standards for Event Planning, Event Sales, and Event Services at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio. Responsibilities include developing and recommending budgets, marketing plans, and objectives, and maintaining or exceeding budgeted sales and profits.

Requirements

  • 6 years or more of progressive hotel Event Sales and Planning experience
  • Service oriented style with professional presentations skills
  • At least 3 years experience in a senior role in Event Sales/Planning environment
  • Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset
  • Clear concise written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and administrative skills
