Role Overview

The Hotel Manager is a highly visible role with exposure to Senior and Corporate leadership, responsible for maintaining a strong operational presence throughout the property by conducting regular site walks, assessing staff performance, and providing ongoing direction and support to the team.

What You Will Do

The Hotel Manager oversees the overall Operations function, ensuring that all departments maintain the highest standards of guest service, safety, cleanliness, efficiency, and professionalism. Key responsibilities include employee training and development, performance management, scheduling, departmental coordination, and ensuring compliance with established policies and procedures.

In the absence of the General Manager, the Hotel Manager assumes full responsibility for the property, providing leadership and making operational decisions necessary to ensure the successful management of the hotel.

Requirements

  • Previous hotel Management experience with proven success in leadership of teams
  • Previous experience working in a Union environment is preferred
  • Proven success in guest service results
  • Strong financial knowledge required
  • Drive for results demonstrated through successful performance in prior leadership positions
  • Action orientation to work efficiently and effectively toward property revenue and operational objectives
  • Time management skills to meet commitments across multiple departments and roles
  • Customer focus to consistently deliver optimal employee and customer satisfaction for the hotel
