Job Description
The Hotel Rooms Controller is responsible for answering guest requests, monitoring inventory forecasts, and updating room status in the LMS system. The role also involves working with Hotel Maintenance and Housekeeping personnel to ensure rooms are updated when available to sell. Responsibilities include answering phone calls, preparing daily agendas, and checking numbers for the day.
Requirements
Ability to work as a Front Desk Clerk
Ensures guest needs and special requests are met
Invokes service recovery when appropriate
Maximizes use of customer service skills
Prepares daily agenda
Attends Housekeeping pre-shift
Checks numbers for the day
Responsible for placing guest requests to the housekeeping department
