Job Description
The Senior Associate Technical Consultant, Infrastructure is responsible for leading teams in the design of marine structures, including docks, marinas, ports, and waterfront facilities. The role involves assisting in recruiting and coaching team members, undertaking technical mentorship, and conducting peer reviews. The ideal candidate will have a degree in civil engineering and over 10 years of experience in marine structural engineering or a related discipline.

Requirements

  • Degree in civil engineering from an accredited post-secondary institution
  • Over 10 years prior experience in marine structural engineering/research, or a related discipline
  • Registered or eligibility for registration with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia as a professional engineer
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively
  • Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining strong client relations
  • Demonstrated experience in marine inspections
  • Experience leading a team, including recruitment, mentoring, coaching and performance management
