Job Description
The Technical Director for Offshore O&G within the Autonomous Operations Business will lead and oversee all aspects of the Autonomous Operations within the focused industries of Offshore O&G or specific discipline areas. This includes aligning the strategic direction for the business, pursuing and winning work, managing resources, managing a team of technical resources with expertise in all aspects of autonomous and automated projects throughout the Americas.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in delivery of projects involving application of Advanced Automation technologies (DCS / SCADA / PLC)
  • Industry experience as an owner vendor, system integrator in one or more of the key verticals (offshore O&G, Refining or Chemicals)
  • Program/Project management experience, with a focus on performance improvement and operations
  • Experience running a P&L
  • Facilitating workshops, client discovery meetings, strategic advisory / consulting with client
  • Proven ability to attract, retain and develop talent
  • Demonstrable experience with targeting and selling through networking
  • Excellent analytical and research skills, attention to detail, intellectual rigor
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Excellent business/commercial acumen and ability to relate to C-Suite concerns and drive customer engagements
  • Able to interact and influence at any level of a client organization, including Executives and Staff
  • Able to think outside of the box; innovative; flexible and decisive
