Job Description
The University of Wyoming is seeking a Human Resources (HR) Benefits Intern to gain experience in HR functions. This role involves assisting with payroll, recruiting, classification/compensation, records management, and employee relations. The Intern will learn from a progressive department serving a wide range of constituents.

Requirements

  • Assist with processing HR forms and performing quality audits.
  • Assist with records retention and maintaining personnel files.
  • Assist with new employees.
  • Perform data entry into UW’s HCM system.
  • Prepare reports and perform data analysis.
  • Perform initial intake of and document customer complaints and concerns pertaining to employee relations matters.
  • Scan and enter employment files to electronic storage system.
