Role OverviewThe House Manager is responsible for the physical security, access control, and safety monitoring of the family shelter facility during assigned shifts. Working in close coordination with Resident Services Monitors and the Shift Operations Supervisor, the House Manager conducts building patrols, controls facility access, monitors common areas, and responds to safety incidents — maintaining a secure environment that supports the dignity and wellbeing of all residents and staff.

Key responsibilities include access control, building patrols and monitoring, incident response and emergency management, and documentation and communication.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid NYS Security Guard License
- FDNY Certificate of Fitness F-02 (Fire Safety/EAP Director)
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Minimum of one year of experience in security, residential, or facilities monitoring
