Role OverviewThe Part-Time House Manager runs the Shelter program under the supervision of the Program Manager/Coordinator. House Managers are responsible for ensuring that the house runs smoothly according to the program guidelines and structure.
What You Will Do
Manages the operations of the program during the day, admits residents, makes supplies available, reads and updates staff logs, maintains logs of evening and weekend activities, and adheres to all agency and program policies.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will be available to the residents for support, responsible for enforcing all of the rules and policies of the house, and able to perform other tasks as assigned by the Program Coordinator.
Requirements
- Manages the operations of the program during the day
- Admits residents as they enter shelter with Heading Home, and ensures the appropriateness of each resident for placement at the Shelter
- Makes supplies available, including food for the resident’s snacks and lunches
- Reads and updates staff logs with any and all-important information that occurs during their shift
- Maintains appropriate logs of evening and weekend activities
- Attends scheduled staff meetings
- Adheres to all agency and program policies, procedures and rules
