House Mother

Aid for Women is seeking a full-time House Mother for our pregnancy help organization that operates two maternity homes. The House Mother is responsible for all aspects of day-to-day operations of the home.

What You Will Do

The House Mother will promote overall mission, value and goals of the organization, ensure residents and staff members follow best practices for safety, and provide a social and moral example to residents while demonstrating Christian values.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• The ability to recognize signs of illness and safety/injury hazards and respond with prevention interventions
• Ability to implement and enforce policies and procedures
• Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills
• Maturity and sensitivity to cultural and individual differences
• Ability to maintain professional demeanor while exercising judgment and discretion in work
• Ability to write reports and correspondence
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Commitment to the mission, values, and goals of Heather’s House and Aid for Women, which includes a commitment to pro-life and sexual integrity values
