Job Description
La Crosse County is seeking a Household Assistant - Nurse Aid in Training to work in their Hillview Health Care Center. The successful candidate will provide care and assistance to residents, maintain a safe and clean environment, and work under the supervision of the Support Systems Manager, and/or the Director of Nursing and/or Clinical Nurse Manager and/or the Household Coordinator.

Requirements

  • Certified Nursing Assistant at time of hire
  • Must be listed on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide Registry within 120 days from date of hire
  • A nurse aide student enrolled in an approved nurse aide training program may be permitted to work for up to 120 calendar days
  • Must be at least 17 years of age
  • Must successfully pass a background check as required by the Wisconsin Caregiver Law
