Role OverviewThe Housekeeper will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing common areas, homes, apartments, suites, and healthcare units on the campus. The role requires a regular work schedule and supervision by the Housekeeping Supervisor.
What You Will Do
The Housekeeper will perform duties such as cleaning inhabited and vacant units, removing trash, and using cleaning chemicals and supplies properly. The role also involves interacting with residents and employees, maintaining confidentiality, and attending employee in-services.

Requirements
- Technical certification from a janitorial program desired
- Janitorial or maintenance experience required
- Two years experience in a similar housekeeping position desired
- Ability to work with minimal and close supervision
- Ability to use hand tools, carts and dollies
- Ability to work outdoors and indoors during the work day
- Ability to climb up to two flights of stairs
- Ability to lift objects of 25 pounds or less over the head
- Ability to move objects of 40 pounds or more
- Ability to work under time-sensitive or stressful situations
