Job Description
Perform cleaning functions to maintain a sanitary, attractive and orderly condition, including sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors, as well as dusting and cleaning fixtures and equipment.

Requirements

  • Sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors
  • Vacuuming and spot cleaning carpets
  • Dusting furniture, woodwork, equipment, and dusting floors
  • Polishing and cleaning fixtures in utility room and bathrooms
  • Cleaning fixtures, equipment, windows, walls, rest rooms, etc.
  • Stocking supplies in rest rooms
  • Removing solid linens, trash, bio-hazard from collection areas
  • Notifying supervisor regarding needed repairs and submitting supply orders
  • Gathering and disposing trash and waste materials
  • Assisting with Laundry Tech Linen Handler and Utility Tech functions
  • Participating in educational programs and in-services
  • Attending meetings as required
