Role OverviewProvides cleaning services to provide a safe, sanitary, comfortable, and homelike environment for residents, staff, and the public. Housekeeping services are provided in accordance with facility policies and procedures and consistent with state and federal laws and regulations to maintain an environment that enhances the quality of life for residents.
What You Will Do
Sweeps, damp mops, and wet mops tile floors; vacuums carpeted rooms; empties trash cans and cleans interiors; cleans bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets; cleans glass surfaces; changes soiled privacy curtains and draperies; dusts and damp cleans surfaces in patient/resident rooms; moves furniture to clean behind/underneath; turns bed mattresses after cleaning.
Why It Might Be a Fit
No prior experience is required as on-the-job training is provided. A high school diploma or equivalent and previous experience with healthcare housekeeping or environmental services are preferred.
