Requirements

• Sweeps, damp mops, and wet mops tile floors
• Vacuums carpeted rooms
• Empties trash cans, cleans exterior, and replaces with a clean can liner
• Cleans bathroom sinks, fixtures, and toilets
• Cleans glass surfaces such as mirrors, pictures, and windows
• Cleans behind and underneath furnishings
• Follows infection control standards
• Prevents/removes wax/dirt buildup in corners, around baseboards, and in doorways
• Changes soiled privacy curtains and draperies for outside windows
• Removes and re-hangs curtains and draperies for outside windows
• Dusts and damp cleans surfaces in patient/resident rooms
• Moves furniture to clean behind/underneath
• Turns bed mattresses after cleaning
