Role OverviewThe Housekeeping - Janitorial Manager will supervise and direct the work of other rest area employees, maintaining the cleanliness of the rest area grounds, buildings, and facilities. This role involves a mix of indoor and outdoor work, working with others, and enjoying the beautiful Kentucky Rest Area.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include cleaning the rest area grounds, buildings, and facilities, stocking toilet paper and soap, keeping sidewalks and parking areas free of litter and debris, and emptying trash containers. The employee must be able to communicate with co-workers and others in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

- Ability to walk on uneven ground, such as lawns, fields, and gravel.
- Ability to determine whether surfaces are cleaned to required standards.
- Ability to identify spills and other liquids on floors, parking lots, and other surfaces.
- Ability to detect the presence of (and avoid being struck by) automobiles and other motor vehicles.
