Role Overview

The Housekeeping Coordinator is responsible for supervising all aspects of facilities housekeeping operations, including routine housekeeping projects, daily office cleaning, post-event cleaning, and deep cleaning projects. This position will be 100% on-site.

What You Will Do

The Housekeeping Coordinator will supervise housekeeping staff and subcontractors, plan and direct work, ensure proper cleanliness, prepare event spaces, and inventory building assets and supplies. This role will also involve attending meetings, resolving operational problems, and assisting other departments as needed.

To be successful in this role, you should have a bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Management, or Maintenance Engineering, or equivalent experience. You should also have 3+ years of experience in management and/or supervisory positions of public assembly facilities, and be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college in Hospitality, Management, or Maintenance Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in management and/or supervisory position of public assembly facilities
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule
  • Basic computer skills, such as using Excel application
  • Ability to conduct quick math calculations using a calculator
  • Previous cashier experience or strong math skills, and ability to make change
  • Positive, outgoing, and able to work well with others
  • Accountable and maintain accuracy in financial transactions at the work-station
  • Professional appearance required
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to reach, lift, and bend to perform job duties throughout the shift
