Housekeeping Manager

The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for maintaining a safety culture, leading the site housekeeping and laundry team, and managing the lodge housekeeping budget. They will direct housekeeping and laundry operations, plan and manage daily room assignments, and establish cleanliness and quality standards.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will be accountable for maintaining a safety culture, following all SOPs, JSAs, and policies and procedures. They will direct housekeeping and laundry operations, lead and develop the housekeeping supervisor and the site housekeeping and laundry team, and manage the lodge housekeeping budget.

Requirements

• Hospitality Management degree, Business Administration degree, or equivalent operational experience
• 5+ years of housekeeping, custodial, or facility services experience, including high-volume or multi-building operations
• 3+ years of leadership experience managing housekeeping supervisors or large hourly teams
• Remote-site, camp, or workforce housing experience strongly preferred
• Demonstrated accountability for a housekeeping or facilities budget, including labor, linen, and supply costs
• Experience managing linen inventory, par levels, and laundry operations
• Working knowledge of chemical safety, MSDS requirements, and bloodborne pathogen and PPE standards
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with property management, room status, or inventory systems
• First aid certification is an asset
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability and willingness to travel and work long rotations away from home
• Must be able to pass a background check and urinalysis
