Role Overview

Hyatt House San Jose/Silicon Valley is seeking a dependable and service-focused Housekeeping Houseperson to support the Housekeeping team in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming hotel environment.

What You Will Do

Maintain cleanliness and presentation of guest corridors, elevators, stairwells, linen closets, service areas, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Assist Room Attendants with daily housekeeping needs, including delivery of linens, towels, amenities, and supplies.

Requirements

  • Previous housekeeping, hotel, janitorial, laundry, or related experience
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety
  • Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to complete assigned tasks efficiently
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including AM/PM shifts, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move items up to a moderate weight
