Job Description
The Leased Housing Department Inspections Unit is seeking a housing assistant to conduct Housing Quality Standards (HQS) and National Standards for the Physical Inspection of Real Estate (NSPIRE) inspections.
Requirements
Conduct annual and biannual inspections at privately owned Housing Choice Voucher program participant properties using various test equipment and handheld computer devices.
Conduct Rental, transfer and special inspections at privately owned Housing Choice Voucher program participant properties.
Conduct project-based inspections at Housing Choice Voucher program participant properties.
Interact with program participants, landlords, and advocates.
Perform other tasks as needed to support Inspection units.
