Role OverviewAs a Housing Associate, you will work under general supervision to establish and maintain a safe and supportive environment for staff and residents of a shelter for individuals. You will effectively support ongoing and collaborative communication amongst all program staff and ensure a trauma-informed care environment.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include overseeing the operation of the residence, conducting intakes, providing information and referral services, and providing crisis intervention and conflict management to residents.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid and clean NYS Driver's License
- Two years of experience in the human services field, crisis intervention, residential setting, or emergency services
- Knowledge of homeless client issues preferred
- Experience with conflict resolution techniques preferred
