Job Description
As a Housing Counselor, you will provide housing counseling services to consumers in need, analyzing their situation to determine and provide appropriate solutions, and utilizing education, resources, and referrals for assistance. You will work in a remote environment, utilizing the organization's proprietary software CMS platform, and must be a HUD Certified Housing Counselor.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • At least 2 years of experience in finance, mortgage, real estate, psychology or case management
  • Must be computer literate, have the ability to type at least 40 words per minute and be able to spend your day on the phone
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone in a high volume in-bound call center environment
  • Coachable and acceptable to feedback & improvement
  • Demonstrate ability and interpersonal skills to communicate with supervisor and management team
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment screening process including criminal background check and drug screen
  • MUST be a HUD Certified Housing Counselor
